How do I clean framed pieces once they have been installed?
You can use a soft cloth or feather duster to clean the frame and glazing of a framed piece. It is not recommended that you use harsh chemicals, cleaners or abrasive cloths (including paper towels) on the frame or glazing because their use could cause damage (e.g. scratching) to the materials.
A soft, microfiber cloth with either glass cleaner or plexi-glass cleaner is recommended on the glazing.
For the frame, a simple wipe down with a soft cloth or feather duster will suffice. Particularly with wood and wood product based frames, it is not recommended to use water or cleaning agents not designed for finished wood.
